Bush Babies

An outdoor play session in the bush for babies up to one and their parents or carers. Little ones get to explore nature freely while families meet each other and get to know their local reserve.

A free nature activity at Karawatha Forest Park and Discovery Centre. Suitable for ages 0-1.

The short version

Every Friday at 10am until 30 Oct, with 4 sessions to go. The next one is tomorrow, Fri 9 Oct. Each session runs for 2 hours. It's free and there's no need to book. Suitable for ages 0-1. It's outdoors, so keep an eye on the weather.

Children aged 3 to 5 and their carers spend a morning outdoors with a tree-themed tea party, bushwalks, stories, craft and play that build comfort in nature. Old clothes suit the messy play.

Bush Kindy: Library Stories and Rhymes - Nature Book Week

Free

Children aged 3 to 5 and their parents or carers share stories and rhymes outdoors in a special Nature Book Week session, run with Council libraries. Old clothes are a good idea for messy play.
